Bio
Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Sedarati completed her internship and residency at the Yale University-affiliated St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. Sedarati has extensive teaching experience and trained medical students at two U.S. medical schools in Belize, where she received an award from students for her outstanding dedication.

In 2005 and 2006, Dr. Sedarati was honored by the regional and national sections of the American College of Physicians, respectively. She is also involved in the Persian-American Cancer Institute and serves on the board of an international organization that studies genetic diseases in Sephardic Jews.

Dr. Sedarati and her husband, also a physician, recently relocated to South Orange County. Her hobbies include painting, photography and fashion design. Dr. Sedarati also plays the piano and sings folks songs in the Persian soprano style.
