Desperate for a Solution
In my twenties when I was built like an athlete, if anyone ever mentioned anything about me getting fat I would always tell them, "There's no way I am ever going to get fat, I have GOOD genes!" Both my dad and my grandpa were fairly thin. However, entering the workforce after college and not having the time to run up and down the basketball court 4 to 5 hours a day I began gaining weight. I couldn't believe it or should I say I didn't want to admit it.

That was just the beginning of my weight problem. In 2006 after a visit to the doctor I was devastated. I learned that day that because my mom is Diabetic and my Dad's sister (my Aunt) has Diabetes too, plus being an Afro-American male, I was considered "High Risk" in contracting adult-onset diabetes if I didn't get my weight and especially the weight in my midsection under control. So I began my search for supplements that could help me lose some weight without having to spend hours a day in the gym running on those boring treadmills and cardio machines.
