Health, for so long, was not an issue for me. I was young, active, and had so much going for me. Reality hit me at a young age when I had my daughter Jade at 17 years old. I was forced to grow up so quickly which caused tons of stress on me. I gained tons of weight from the pregnancy and my only solution was to smoke a half a pack of cigarettes a day. Then without warning, to make matters more detrimental, my late husband passed away in a deadly car accident. I was devastated, depressed, and all my bad habits grew worse.
