Sergio Mayer was born in Mexico City on May 21st, 1966, in the center of a very loving and caring family. His father Ruben always taught Sergio and his three brothers, that pursuing your dreams with hard work and perseverance was the key to success. So he has followed his example all his life.
Sergio started his musical career at a very early age. When he was 16 he performed with his first group called Chevere, for four years, touring all over Latin America. When he got back, he decided to finish his college degree in Administration in one of Mexico’s Top Universities. Sergio was then invited to create a new musical concept, Garibaldi, a group that is very well known all over Latin America, the United States, and Europe. He has also participated in several successful soap operas, the most recent being "La Fea Más Bella", which is the Mexican version of Ugly Betty.
With his schooling and experience, Sergio decided to put his knowledge of business to better use and began producing his own shows, like “Solo para Mujeres” (Only for Women) that has been touring for 10 years. He has also been responsible of the success in different international shows in Mexico, like Liza Minelli and Bob Dylan, just to mention a few.
For his success in business, Sergio was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneur Magazine in 2002. This success has also allowed Sergio’s passion for speed to be another business venture as he has purchase a NASCAR team that has been racing on various tracks in Mexico for the past season.
Not only is Sergio a successful singer, actor, producer, and businessman, he is also a loving father of two. Sergio has raised a beautiful family with Isabella Camil, and is the proud father of Sergio Jr. and Antonia. For Sergio, the secret has been the balance between his work, his health and his family. He has been considered one of the Top 10 male fitness figures in Mexico for several years.
Sergio has been a very passionate athlete all his life, has practiced gymnastics, parachuting, football, and had some injuries. Doctors even told him he had to have surgery because his back and knee pains were very difficult to handle. A good friend shared YOR Repair with him a few months ago, and he was amazed with the results he experienced. Sergio then started doing research on enzymes and the rest of the YOR Health product line and soon after began using them all.
As a businessman, he saw the opportunity that can be built with our company, especially in the times we are living now, where we need to team up in order to recover from the financial situations we are experiencing worldwide. So, he decided to become a part of the family, share the products and the opportunity with all his friends, family, and fans and build a team together.
